Group accommodation bookings made by in Edinburgh have increased by 32% in 2011 compared to 2010.

Ian Jamieson, Regional Director of in Edinburgh, added “We are seeing many more groups coming to visit Edinburgh. As people look to get more for their money, by travelling in groups they are able to benefit from real economies of scale. Groups spend substantial amounts on accommodation, and we are able to negotiate some great deals and complimentary extras with local hotels using this bargaining power. Plus we manage the whole accommodation booking process for free which allows the group to relax and enjoy their stay a lot more.”

It’s not only the obvious stag groups and school parties that are coming to Edinburgh either. We are also receiving accommodation enquiries from very diverse interest groups, such as wheelchair tennis players, Harry Potter enthusiasts, geocachers and biochemistry researchers. Edinburgh really does have something for every group.“
