Ian says, “After travelling extensively as a young man, followed by a decade working in London, I returned to Scotland to start this business because of my passion for travel, recreation and Edinburgh itself.

With many of our customers coming from as far away as Japan and the United States, we want to ensure that every aspect of their visit is perfect. I have hand-selected our four and five star hotels, serviced apartments, guest houses, B & Bs, and exclusive use venues.”

Hotels.tv uses video to promote its hand-selected hotels, offering local advice and knowledge on accommodation to travellers. This service is provided through a network of international franchises.

The company’s directors have been successfully engaged in online travel for 15 years and were the first to categorise hotels by genre rather than just star rating and produced the first hotel video reviews for internet use.
